Lets say Raoh decides to man up and kill Souther himself, instead of manipulating Kenshiro into doing it for him.
What happens?

Souther cannot really handle Musou Tensei. If they battle without it and Raoh ignores his secret, I see Souther getting a small majority with his Tenshô Jûji Hô, but since Raoh has ki blasts he'd mess him up even with that.
Pretty much. The only thing that beat Musou Tensei was that aura gimmick that Kaioh had and after figuring out how it worked Kenshiro didn't even need Musou Tensei to defeat Kaioh.

In fact the Anryu Tenha didn't cancel the Musou Tensei, it gave Kenshiro the space sickness and Kenshiro lost his concentration on the technique, then Kaioh weakened Kenshiro via absorbing his Ki.
Yes. It is clear that if Kenshiro used the Musou Tensei again, Kaioh had no way stopping it again considering that the Anryu Tenha was unable to disorient Kenshiro again so it would have been an even bigger stomps if Kenshiro wanted it.
I don't think that there is such thing as a stronger Musou Tensei, it's mostly being a better fighter once two Musou Tensei users ignore each others techniques.
