GT does not come after Super, it is a completely separate timeline.

It probably is, yes. We don't know for sure, though - Tori doesn't care one bit (and doesn't remember his own stuff), so nobody dictates what is canon and what is not.

Im pretty sure it was in an interview. To be honest now i'm actually not 100% sure lol.

There was this interview where he refers to it as a side story. I thought I read something more recent about it though. Let me do some digging.

GT was all Toei... Toriyama pitched in with some character designs here and there, but wasn't involved in the storyboard for the arcs or anything.

And since we'll never really know the extent of EoGT Goku's power, he's not really eligible for versus threads, tbh. Nothing to really debate when there's not enough to know about him, and is featless as pointed out.
