The moment I saw Cooler in GT, I assumed it was the same continuity as like the movies. On that note, fun fact, the english voice for Cooler also voiced General Rilldo.
Either that, or another villain who looked identical to 5th form Cooler had died on earth in the past, and was chilling with all of the other DB antagonists...
