Should Palpatine be banned from versus contests?

Palpatine is not a mortal being, loosing physical hosts do not stop him. And his latest showings indicate that he is too potent to consider for versus scenarios.

So shall we stop using this character for versus scenarios?

No, he lost to Windu. He barely got the better of Yoda who is the epitome of failure.

Palpatine faked his defeat. Mace Windu have nothing on Palpatine. And Palpatine far became more powerful after events of Revenge of the Sith.

No, you're wrong and to biased to probably be reasoned with. Windu disarmed him and won the duel. Sidious went from screaming he will kill him to feigning weakness only after he realized he couldn't defeat Windu on his own and needed to appeal to Anakin.

You think Palpatine can be overcome by conventional means? This canon revelation says otherwise:

The new Sith could not be destroyed with a lightsaber; they could not be burned away by any torch of the Force. The brighter his light, the darker their shadow. How could one win a war against the dark, when war itself had become the dark's own weapon?

From (Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith)

Palpatine cannot be defeated by conventional methods, neither lightsabers nor the Force can beat him. Palpatine faked his defeat at hands of Mace Windu. Time you accepted this.

That isn't to be taken literally. You're to blind to see it though. One can't ever eliminate the light of the dark because both will always be present. It's rather obvious to anyone with a functioning brain but you instead want to push your false narrative. We see as Rey's power rose to match Kylo's without any training of her own. Both will always exist though the Sith died out.

Vader killed him without a saber by the way. laughing out loud

Sidious lost and Anakin saved him. It's that simple.

Mace can defeat him, Yoda can defeat him, Tyrannus can defeat him and countless TOR characters pose a threat or win solidly.

Palpatine have official promotion as being who cannot be overcome with conventional methods. He have also unbalanced the Force to dark side and no lightsider could stop him. Have a look:

This was the office of the Chancellor.

Within the chair's shadow sat another shadow: deeper, darker, formless and impenetrable, an abyssal umbra so profound that it drained light from the room around it.

And from the city. And the planet.

And the galaxy.

[…]

The Coruscant nightfall was spreading through the galaxy. The darkness in the Force was no hindrance to the shadow in the Chancellor's office; it was the darkness. Wherever darkness dwelled, the shadow could send perception.

From (Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith)

Palpatine's machinations also eradicated light side. You are wrong about light side returning to balance dark side. Palpatine have made sure of this. See for yourself:

To be sure, the light had been extinguished, but for how long and at what cost?

From (Star Wars: Darth Plagueis)

quote:
Vader killed him without a saber by the way. laughing out loud

Darth Vader did not kill Palpatine. He is immortal. Your FANON lowballing cannot overcome canon revelations:

Faced with the Emperor’s limitless power and immortality, Luke succumbed to the dark side.

From (Star Wars: Handbook 3: Dark Empire)

quote:
Sidious lost and Anakin saved him. It's that simple.

Palpatine came back, stronger than ever. Conventional methods do not stop him. Time you accepted this.

I agree, LeGenDofPT. Aayla Secura should be enough to cruise most of the other eras.

Did you not see what I posted? Palpatine fakes his defeat at hands of Mace Windu. Palpatine cannot be defeated with conventional methods. Even Yoda understood this during his fight with Palpatine. Take a look:

Finally, he saw the truth.

This truth: that he, the avatar of light, Supreme Master of the Jedi Order, the fiercest, most implacable, most devastatingly powerful foe the darkness had ever known...

just-

didn't-

have it.

He'd never had it. He had lost before he started.

He had lost before he was born.

The Sith had changed. The Sith had grown, had adapted, had invested a thousand years' intensive study into every aspect of not only the Force but Jedi lore itself, in preparation for exactly this day. The Sith had remade themselves.

They had become new.

While the Jedi-

The Jedi had spent that same millennium training to refight the last war.

The new Sith could not be destroyed with a lightsaber; they could not be burned away by any torch of the Force. The brighter his light, the darker their shadow. How could one win a war against the dark, when war itself had become the dark's own weapon?

He knew, at that instant, that this insight held the hope of the galaxy. But if he fell here, that hope would die with him. Hmmm, Yoda thought. A problem this is . . .

From (Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith)

Count Dooku also have nothing on Palpatine. These are Count Dooku's thoughts in Palpatine's presence:

Physically, the Count's age was rarely a handicap. Deft as he had become with the Force—unimaginably more subtle than the boy who had watched waterskeeters in the Jedi gardens all those years ago—he wore his eighty-three standard years better than most humans half his age. He was still in superb physical shape, senses keen, health undiminished by even the memory of a cold.

Only in this situation, stooped before the image of his Master, did he feel his years. Even via hologram, the flickering figure of Darth Sidious, hideous in blue and shadows, seemed to strip his false youth away, leaving his bones brittle, his joints worn thin and knotted with tension.

From (Star Wars: Yoda: Dark Rendezvous)

---

Really, sometimes it seemed to Dooku that Darth Sidious's plots were needlessly complex. It was beginning to look very much as if Dooku could simply win: march his battle droids into Coruscant and claim the Republic outright.

Not that he would ever question the power of Darth Sidious.

From (Star Wars: Yoda: Dark Rendezvous)

---

Dooku could not argue. Not only had the Dark Lord introduced Dooku to realms of power beyond his most spectacular fantasies, but Sidious was also a political manipulator so subtle that his abilities might be considered to dwarf even the power of the dark side itself.

From (Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith)

---

And then there was Palpatine, of course: he was beyond power. He showed nothing of what might be within. Though seen with the eyes of the dark side itself, Palpatine was an event horizon. Beneath his entirely ordinary surface was absolute, perfect nothingness. Darkness beyond darkness.

A black hole of the Force.

From (Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith)

This is what Palpatine can do to Count Dooku:

https://static.comicvine.com/upload...68300-59259.gif

Count Dooku have no chance against Palpatine.

No TOR character can match him either. This canon revelation says as much:

The key to Luke's turning is the moment when he and Leia realize the Emperor is no longer defined by his physical form, but has become a chaotic nexus of dark energies that swell and burst open the fabric of space, tearing apart everything in the vicinity, human and machine.

Nothing can match such dark power...

From (Star Wars: Dark Empire [Endnotes])

You must understand proper ground realities of Palpatine. Everyone must. It is time we moved on past this stage of petty trolling and FANON lowballing.
