What about the contract killings you get from Lester? Would that not make him a villain? You are eventually forced to do them to progress, and Franklin in the story is doing them willingly for money, despite not knowing these people. I mean assuming we're going by a rule that "Franklin only killed people in self-defense or killed people that tried to kill him first."
