What are the Ones?

1. Are they created, by the Force due to an imbalance, like Anakin?
-the Father says, to Anakin, they are the same
2. Are they immortal?
-they can't be. The Father said his day comes
3. Are they the Force?
-not so sure. The Father becomes one with it after he dies.
4. Are they the same species?
-the Father remembers me of a Cerean, the Daughter of a Sephi and the Son of an Umbaran

It is only presumed they are Celestials. Even so, Wookieepedia says there is an entire species of them.

They can't be. Otherwise the Father wouldn't fade into the Force realm and the universe would collapse when they died. If the Father identified himself with Anakin, that means the Ones are also a byproduct of an imbalance. The Infinite Empire, maybe?

What? Lol

How can they die if they are the Force?

There is no concrete evidence they are Celestials. If anything they are Force Vergences.

The Ones are extremely long-lived, but they're not immortal. They still age, and old age can still kill them.

Well they exist beyond time and space so... that's not really a problem.

That likely refers to the balance rapidly going out of wack.

The Force comprises space and time.

Impossible. You can see the Father's facial features. He is old. The balance was broken only after the Daughter and he died.

Ok?

That doesn't change the fact that the Ones exist "outside" of it.

That means they aren't the Force. Happy Dance They are just Force vergences. And the Father alludes to that. It makes more sense lore-wise.

Well they obviously arenít the force itself. They embody and represent it however and I'd certainly say they are more then mere "force vergences".

He's always been old, based on Rebels at least.

The balance is out of wack with the Sith ascension and the Clone Wars.

His statement definitely wasn't referring to that. If a galactic imbalance of the Force could've killed the Father, it would have killed Anakin as well(had he taken over Father's role) -- but that was obviously not his intent. No, the Father was clearly dying of old age, and wanted Anakin to take over for him before his death.

Additional dialogue from S03E16 is indicative of such:
Son: "You look frail, Father."
Father: "I am not dead YET."
Son: "Perhaps I am tired of WAITING!"

That quote doesn't contradict my stance whatsoever, lmfao.

The Father was dying for one reason: old age -- not because an imbalance of the Force was killing him. By your line of 'logic', the very same imbalance in the Force would have immediately killed Anakin, had he took Father's spot... You really think that was Father's intent? I sure don't.

If you disagree, please post some evidence to enlighten me, instead of these faux-intellectual/douchey non-points you're throwing my way.

...lmfao. smile
