Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
Stupid idea. This site would turn into an echo chamber of your own thoughts and ideas. How are you supposed to learn anything that way? How are you supposed to learn how to counter an adversary's argument if you don't even know what they're saying?
I can live with being wrong, we all can really. What I cannot abide is being ignorant of others and blinded to what they say/do.
Oh wait, my bad, is this about somebody wanting a 'safe space' from the nasty people who say wrong wrong?
