Changing my answer to the duo.
I don't think DE Sidious is vastly more powerful than he was in ROTS, though he certainly is notably stronger. It's not enough that he's gonna be one-shotting or even solidly beating Plagueis, and Tenebrous in extremely powerful in his own right, so he should be able to make up the difference.

The team, obviously. They're both comparable to him 1v1, and he's not in a position to abuse his larger-scale powers with the given setting.
