Cold has never even phased Thor before. He's fought the frost giants in Jotunheim, can take the coldness of space without being phased (unlike Maw who froze nearly instantly). So no, freezing Thor won't work at all.

Oh he'll hit him. This is movie Superman, not comics. They will hit eachother, but with Thor's durability and damage soak AND his vastly improved feats as of late....this isn't an easy fight for Superman. I could see it going either way.

But that brings us back to the dilemma of whether Superman can hit Thor without injuring himself while Thor is covered in electricity (like he was at the end of Ragnarok).
Well considering 90% of humans that are struck by lightning survive. I would say yes. Unless we assume Thors lightning is extra powerful? Which it might be. Honestly not sure.
Thor's lightning is strong enough to punch through multiple leviathans, devastate acres of frostgiant homeworld, faceplant Thanos and tear up multiple spaceships. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Thor's lightning is more powerful than just regular lightning.
Going by movie feats Thor's lightning is far more powerful than normal lightning. have you even seen any of the movies?

Well the first two Thor movies were so terrible I forget what happened. I did go back and watch some scenes and yes his lightning is more powerful. I didnt doubt it was, just forgot those scenes to be honest.
Given this post, you most certainly did doubt whether Thor's lightning was more powerful than normal lightning.

Well, Thor's lightning has way better destructive feats than Zod, Faora's or Namek's punches and those punches were hurting Superman. It's safe to assume Thor's lightning can hurt him too.
As it has far better feats than people that have hurt Superman, why wouldn't it have the ability to ko/kill him?

Do you think the Superman in MOS is equal to the Superman in JL. No one hurt him in JL. I think the JL Superman stomps the other Kryptonians with Zod maybe putting up a little fight.
What feats do you have that would prove Superman got more durable in JL?

He stoped with his bare hands the unison of the motherboxes(which by the way contain imense power) superman himself said he felt liking dying,although that might have only been a joke. But that just goes to show the immense amount of energy he soaked in.
