Ren is the series main villain. He always has been just as Rey is the main hero. I love Disney Star Wars more than either other trilogy. I expect this to end with a bang. Lucas intended for him to be done. Retconning is not honoring his intentions it is changing it. I bet he hates it tbh. Disney owns the rights and Abrams my guy will knock it out of the park.
