i know its a weird question but I was curious what race or species has the best overall vision [as in eyesight]? not talking about force enchanced perceptions or whatever.
Either the best at seeing across distances, or seeing across spectrums.
Off the top of my head, Sakiyans should be up there given by comparison to other species they have a nigh-supernatural perception, there's also the Nediji. Though the best? Not too sure there is a sole best, there's many different species to look through.

The Chiss can see into the infrared spectrum. That's one of the reasons why Thrawn was so good at reading his opponents -- he could literally see their "body glow" fluctuating and whatnot. I wouldn't say their vision is the 'best', however.
One creature that did come to mind is the Dathomirian "Sleeper". Quinlan Vos believed that its vision was so attuned that it may have been able to see the force itself:

Eh I poke and prod in some current Canon stuff, but not going out of my way to get sourcebooks or novels or anything. Some comics at best(though they finished up), the movies and TV shows, though I dunno about the newer series coming up..

I tried to find a good gif for this, but whatever, I guess I'll just have to use english:
I enjoy the pun.
...
English isn't as fun...
Well there's categories of star wars knowledge. There's the lore aspect, what you know about the workings of the force, and the different facts about "who has the best vision," and stuff like that. There's the story aspect, for how well you know the different stories told throughout the expanded universe. And there's the...fan aspect?...theory aspect?... which is knowing how powerful certain characters are, and other logical conclusions you can come up with that aren't directly stated in the lore.
There can only be so much lore knowledge, but story-wise is more interesting. I'm constantly impressed when I see both of them pull from sources like the Brian Daley "Han Solo Adventures" and the Archie Goodwin comics, and the Classic Star Wars newspaper strips.
The logic thing is hard to measure, partially because there's no right or wrong answer in many of them. That's the kind of debating deathmatch I'd really like to see.
The Talz I know had some really precise vision, and had 4 sets of eyes, 2 of which could see in the dark or something.
