Ideally, the admin, who hasn't logged on here in like 3 years now, would appoint several new mods, at which point this forum could start to look like a reasonably functional place again. But right now you basically have 3 mods who are at best part timers, and at worst complete idiots (me) who don't really care about this forum anymore because the admin himself doesn't seem to. Hard to muster up the effort when for all any of us knows the forum could straight up die at any given moment without any notice.
Remember the days when Gideon was perm-banned because the sock sweep found a random sock he likely accidentally made at registration and never made a single post with, and then the mods refused to unban him so he had to continuously sock until his IP changed?

Yeah, it wasn't bad but it wasn't good. It was a reasonable attempt, albeit derivative.
@Sinious, you're a 24-year-old man interacting with a kid as a friend "online". Take a step back and look at yourself... It's not normal and it's creepy as hell. Have you always enjoyed being friends with children since becoming an adult?

That's the last thing I have to say on the issue, and I will no longer debate with Sinious the rights and wrongs of an adult man befriending a kid through google hangouts and private chatrooms online. Because it's clearly in the very least distasteful and a little weird, it could clearly be described in other stronger ways.
