That play or to give it it's proper name - That Batman Gambit wouldn't have worked nearly as well if some one else ie: Lex had tried it. If it had been someone like Lex they'd have had to use a very convincing aid to hook Supes into total - complete focus on - the next word to come out of them - If that had been Lex Supes would have been staining in multiple directions --- could be a kyrptonite warhead homing in on him -- or some shielded device directed at him -- but Bruce going all juicy gossip on him -- Lex and Darkseid who every one knows has minions lurking wouldn't have been able to get Supes like that - completely unguarded.

The Speedforce Crew completely forgetting their powers... while Superman doesn't get to forget he has enhanced audio and can levitate
