Dude, no one's going to believe you keep your cat lives in your basement. You've spoken enough affection towards her that she obviously lives in the house proper, as she should.
I don't keep my cat in my basement lol. She is free to roam. But I put my PC in my basement cuz it's cooler down there, I figured perhaps it might make a little bit of difference when it comes to cooling down the PC.
My cat is a psychopath who likes to stare at me lol. My PC is right by that tv.
My cat would literally ram into a door like a battering ram if she's kept out of anywhere.

Once I got an xbox 360..if you played a game on it you could barely read the text. I did used to play xbox on it a long time ago.

CRT's are actually fairly popular among people who play older games because they don't scale as well to newer HD TV's. Also CRT TV's have a faster response time, so you will see some people who are hardcore into Smash Bro's Melee or whatever holding tournaments utilizing CRT TV's.
Lol bingo, this tv was good for xbox and even N64.
Now if I try to turn the tv on..no picture shows up it just makes weird sounds.
