I don't mind Tarantino's brand of filmmaking, because he fully admits he loves old cinema that much and just wants to put his own spin on it. And remember, these are largely just shots and scenes he's trying to recreate. For the most part the big things like plots etc, are all him.

Regardless of Tarantino's 'poaching', I can't think of a film he's directed that I've ever disliked... So for that reason he's probably right at the top of my list.

But I think it's really hard for some men to accept (and this has nothing to do with any member here) that women can be just as aggro and perverse and nerdy and edgy as you. I use to get angry asf at male nerds who bashed me because I have a vagina. Even tho I have more comic knowledge in my left ovary than the whole lot of em. Nerd entitlement is def a thing. It's like some lame ass boys only club.
