I compared her to Castle because he's generally considered the "hero" most likely to straight up murder villains for the least amount of cause. No, I'm not saying he does it for no reason, mind you.
Wonder Woman will kill if she needs to, yes. My problem is with the wildly inconsistent writing that pops up every so often and has her act like they should just murder whoever is in the room. I mean, look at what was posted earlier: Sure, she mentions Batman, but Superman and Flash? The two heroes in the League that are the LEAST likely to get away with murdering their rogues? Wonder Woman isn't supposed to be a ****ing retard, but there they go writing her like one.
I'm not saying she wouldn't try to kill Despero either. Just that there's a difference between feeling like you have to put a villain down under certain circumstances, and Superman executing a villain in custody.
This is what I get for complimenting you. Thanks. Dick.
I already said I was kidding about the vampire thing. I used smilies and all.
You're welcome to your opinion of Batman's morality. I don't agree, but that's the great thing about opinions.
Basically. The point I was trying to make was that being willing to kill on occasion doesn't justify how over the top they make her attitude towards it at times. I consider it bad writing.
If Diana's bloodlusted issues get you going, I wonder what you'd think of how the "Riggs" half of the Lethal Weapon riff reacted to Woody II choosing to sacrifice himself, and poking fun at Quantum for caring about it.
Basically, Teen Woody was a synthetic human. Woody pointed out he was 95% mechanical, and joked Quantum was basically crying over the death of a toaster.

At the risk of sounding stupid, I'm not sure I see the connection. Unless you're talking about the vampire thing? I was joking about that. I grew up watching TNG. The life of even a synthetic being can have plenty of meaning under the right circumstances.
Tenuous connection. Was mostly wondering if you'd read that one.
Yeah, you'd hate the Quantum and Woody Returns story then. I discovered the series a few years back, and the entire thing was a setup to bring old Quantum and Woody out of retirement. The synthetic being was the heart of the story, who thought of himself as a regular teenager with issues, and finds out he was never even born, and hasn't aged a day in 60 years.
The story is very dark, with a steady focus on the thoughts of android Woody, up until the last noble sacrifice to save people.
Cue Woody (Who spent the most time with him, and heard his life's story) essentially going "Welp, that happened", Quantum chewing him out for his disrespect of a human sacrifice, and Woody singing back how barely any of him is human, and asking if he'd mourn his pickup truck.
It was probably meant to call back to the irreverent days, but just fell flat against the tone they set for the entire series, and the investment they clearly were pushing for in a character. Which maybe was the point.
