Yeah, Bill the Butcher is one of the best characters ever, imo. A master class performance by Day-Lewis.

Glad to see Mad Max: Fury Road. Absolutely one of the best movies ever.

Also glad to see Eraserhead.

Apocalypse Now is another great one, but for me it's hard not to prefer Full Metal Jacket.

Yeah it's superb but historically hilarious and not even like the original book. I still feel strong emotion listening to "Hands that built America" and watching the final scenes including the Twin Towers.

Not in order bar the first three, but:

-Return of the Jedi
-Aliens
-Star Trek: First Contact
-Fright Night
-Batman Returns
-Superman II
-A New Hope
-Miami Vice (only Mann's Director's Cut, not theatrical)
-Police Story
-Enter the Dragon

If I could pick 10 from each genre it'd be much easier.

No paticular order. If forced to pick a single film from each collection i would pick the first film from each.

Star wars
Harry Potter
Lord of the Rings
Indiana jones
Back to the future
Rocky
The Sandlot
The Breakfast club
The Hustler
The color of money

Honorable mentions to Ghost Busters (the original) dumb and dumber, a league of their own, and porn.
