"Empire” actor Jussie Smollett, upset after a racist letter sent to the show’s studio didn’t get a “bigger reaction,” is suspected of paying two men to attack him a week later, according to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the investigation.
“When the letter didn’t get enough attention, he concocted the staged attack,” a source told CBS 2 Investigator Brad Edwards. Other sources corroborated that information."

Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.

Well, hell, you could say that about partisan sniping in general.
Why do them? Money/publicity/manipulating public opinion.
Why log them? The same reason people do any politically movitated thing, I guess. Because no one else is, and because they're a cornerstone of opposition talking points.

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
Only followed this story on here really as I don't know the actor. Is it true that the two attackers were Nigerian brothers? If so, how did the act get reported as racially motivated? Was the initial claim that he was attacked by white people? This guy has really shot himself in the foot if it's a hoax, then again people like Paul Reubens still get work so who knows.
Also, can anyone tell me how he claims to have gotten away from the two guys? Because there is a very old Nigerian community in my city going back over a century and I can tell you now, if just one Nigerian guy wanted to lynch me, rest assured, I'd be phucking lynched.
