Even though this series is ultimately just an extra cash-grab for Disney to promote their Galaxy's Edge themepark, it's still canon to the franchise, and therefore worth mentioning.
The story is set on the planet Batuu -- specifically in Black Spire Outpost. Batuu is located on the very edge on the Outer Rim, just before entering the Unknown Regions. The Outpost itself acts as the planet's spaceport, watering hole, and central hub for all sorts of activity.

By the time of this series, the planet is under First Order occupation...

And at the end of the issue we learned that the weapon Dok is hoarding is actually an extremely powerful Sith relic that he's trying to keep hidden from Kylo Ren and the FO:
Just gonna say that I'm not alright with Chewie dodge-rolling through blaster fire and handspring shooting someone.

...I'll say this about the series: it's tying a LOT of different eras/characters/works together. Hondo Ohnaka, Chirrut Imwe, and Doctor Aphra all in the same issue? Jesus.

They just keep handing lightsabers to anyone don't they? I mean I don't particularly care that it's used for a simple swing and then turned off, it's just bothering me that they keep shoving in a lightsaber(NOT A FRACKING LASER SWORD!). It's just turning it into like...some kinda joke as I see it.
"Ho, ho, I'm surrounded or boxed in...now where's that handy dandy lightsaber?"
