I've checked out a few episodes. To me, it gives off an almost Arcanum-like vibe (a PC RPG game from almost 20 years ago), with the whole Industrial Revolution meets Fantasy-type setting. It's a very pretty show, in terms of makeup, costumes, sets and things. But it's a bit bogged down with the pacing in some places, IMO, and can feel like it drags in parts because of it.
I can totally see why this show was released now though, given what's going on in the world and how it's reflected in the show's narrative, given the whole war/immigration thing.

As a whole it was a decent show, but there are certainly boring bits throughout.
