Ofc, other factors also need to be considered, eg, technological advancements (and assuming we don't destroy ourselves); and perhaps also a recognition that there may be a natural limit to wealth disparity, a threshold that, once crossed, triggers the cycle of:
1. Revolution to overthrow the 'old' corrupt power structures.
2. New power structures put in place.
3. Corruption of the these 'new' power structures over time.

It's all relative (ie, what's 'Left' and 'Right'). Certainly, the one predictable aspect is, the future will not be like anything we are currently predicting. Consider how different the beginning of the 20th century was from its closing. Given the accelerating rate of tech innovation (and how that will affect us on so many levels), I think it's safe to say that the difference between the beginning and end of the 21st century will be even more extreme.

A democratic will probably be the next president after trump.
Long term I think within maybe 30 or 40 years there will be a massive paradigm shift within the electorate and the Republican Party will cease to exist. I think the Democratic Party will essentially become the new party if traditional values and kind of take their place minus all the religious horse shit and a new legitimately left wing party will come into play and become a major player.
If Islam continues its trend of working into the Democratic party, religion will play a very big role indeed.
