Disney Star Wars Running to Marvel to save them. Smart.
As for Feige if he can produce a Star Wars film that banks the big bucks and gets fans back on board, then he will be moving up the ranks in Disney pretty fast.
On one hand, feel that if episode 9 happens to also fail (critically and/or financially), they should just finally let Star Wars die and pull the plug on this zombie of a franchise, but you know they won't do that.
On the other hand, Kevin Feige being involved is interesting, but don’t know how they can expect to still make Star Wars something big again after how much damage has been done, since the Disney Star Wars era started frankly. Fire like Kathleen Kennedy and more people might consider having faith again. At the very least, I'll take Feige potentially replacing the likes of Rian Johnson as a silver lining, but still.
Not a fan of this at all. One of my issues with the ST is they seem to have been influenced by the MCU flicks, most notably with the humor. The only good thing about this, is that announcing yet another SW film makes RJ's trilogy less likely.
