Legends Grievous is still one of the most unstable fighters. Examples from an old EU:
- Grievous killed Adi Gallia in "Obssesion", but was forced to use an aditional two arms, while she had no idea that he's capable of that;
- ROTS Grievous was overhelmed by ROTS Obi-Wan in one-sided battle;
- Flynn Kybo, or whater his name was, along with an other jedi, was capable to do well against Grievous, Grievous killed them both at the end;
- Ventrress, while enraged, was capable to temporary overhelm Grievous in their fight from a comic that was basing of old CW's show;
- Grievous was no match for Dooku in CW's S2;
- In LoE Grievous was under impression of the way Kit Fisto fought his guards;
- In LoE Dooku stated, that without any kind of advantage, Grievous would be unable to beat masters like Kenobi, Drallig/Ti;
- In LoE Grievous was capable of dueling Mace on equal terms;

Anakin, while enraged, did better against Ventress in CW amd Republic' comic. While he wasn't enraged, he did worse. He did better against Dooku then masters of Fisto's or Drallig's caliber ever could. And Anakin, as of AOTC, would be unable to dueling Mace on equal terms.

At the end of the day, it seems dependable: if Grievous is capable of beating Anakin before he will reach his enraged state? And if not, then how Grievous would react to that. There is for sure nt a stomp for either of them, both are capable of beating each other. Majority? No idea, since both has far too inconsisten showings.
