A U.S. judge in Georgia rejected plea agreements reached between federal prosecutors and two of the three white men convicted of murdering Ahmaud Arbery, saying she was not willing to be bound to the 30-year federal prison sentence set in the agreement.
The unusual decision by U.S. District Judge Lisa Wood came after Travis McMichael, one of the three attackers due to face trial next week on federal hate-crime charges, admitted for the first time he had pursued the 25-year-old Black man because of his race. -snip
McMichael had appeared in the U.S. District Court in Brunswick, Georgia, in an attempt to change his plea to guilty, admitting to a charge of using a gun in his attempt to apprehend Arbery because of his "race and color," resulting in Arbery's death. -snip
Who was it in here who argued that Arbery's murderers were not motivated by race and that they were not racist?
Because normal murder, child rape and human trafficking, terrorism, you can do plea deals for. But got to draw the line at arbitrary and politically charged terms like "race".

Travis McMichael literally said they chased down Arbery and brandished weapons because of Arbery's race and skin color and it's on file with the courts, dumdum.
What does it matter why someone murders? Are you really so obsessed against racism that you think Timothy George Simpkins should have been out on bail because he was "bullied"? So if he was a white guy who shot blacks out of hate, throw the book at him, but go easy for other reasons?

So based on your argument, should Al Qaeda and ISIS members be exempt from terrorist charges and solely be charged as murderers? Matter of fact, again based on your stance, should there even be a distinction between 1st/2nd/3rd degree murder?

Glad to be back. I legit thought it was the apocalypse for a while. Fortunately it appears to be the opposite. Trump and his cohorts/constituents have wrecked the Republican party so hard that it may be practically impossible for them to have any federal sway for a long time coming.
