using different articles on different aspects of a topic like a newspaper and in fact taken from a single newspaper on the same day as separate articles creates coherant, nuanced discussion and avoids people talking over each other. For instance bolton on china is very different to bolton on trump as a person or trump on his bad judgement about who he employs. All are worth discussing.
