 When are the Silmarillion Films Coming out?

Can we get some far larger scale and grander Middle Earth Kingdoms and Battles than LOTR and Hobbit?

Remember how LOTR and Hobbit would have a statement like "I was delayed" and then play a long cutscene of the event? The whole Silmarillion could be done like that in 3 movies from different narrators that witnessed certain events or knew certain characters.
