Since Trump has been elected it seems as though many in our media/news outlets have gone to great lengths to provide one of the greatest misinformation campaigns ever to undermine action in the USA with great support from our elected officials.
It's not like Trumps attrocious tweets don't provide enough fuel, we need MOAR.
They really can't complain about being called the enemy when they uncritically publish claims from anonymous officials without any evidence.

You'd think the whole "WMD" debacle would maybe make these people hesitate when it comes to parroting unconfirmed claims from these officials who are too cowardly to even put their name on record.
But that would require the ability to learn and adapt.

Disagree all you like, it doesn't change the facts that the majority of mainstream media/news outlets control the feed of information. As institutions they set the tone, not some flash in the pan opinion website that represents itself as conservative.
Which is why I also said Trumps tweets are easy to prove incorrect and he doesn't provide the amount of information disseminated that 24/7 media outlets do. Most of the outlets have turned into opining false narrative positive feedback loops.
One simply has to take a step back and look at popular control of education/news/media etc and it clearly isn't trump nor his supports.

I wish this were true, but I'm guessing a good portion of people between the ages of 20-30 believed this story when hearing about it.
Especially given the way academia has changed here in the last decade(the brainwashing). If students can be such snowflakes they demand UCLA fire a professor for refusing to be racist and give black students special privileges...something tells me they aren't employing any critical thinking skills when they see the media push out propaganda. In fact I'd wonder if they are even capable of recognizing propaganda without a professor telling them something is propaganda.

I said "for the most part" — some Gen X'ers are still under its sway. I find it weird that the second most disaffected generation put so much faith in the media that alienated and disenfranchised them.
