Can't believe there are actually people who think there is absolutely nothing immoral or wicked about this. Then again, those same people tend to be the ones who think abortion is perfectly acceptable as well so guess I shouldn't really be surprised.

That's just an inevitable consequence of being brainwashed with Darwinian crap posing as "science", I suppose. It poisons people's minds. They start thinking human beings are just "evolved animals" which is clearly not the case.

Humans are not animals no matter how often Darwinists or some so-called "scientists" keep repeating the lie that they are. You don't have to be religious to understand that human beings and animals are clearly separate. You just need to open your eyes and use your brain which God gave you.

Combining human DNA with animal DNA is abhorrent and an abomination in the eyes of God.

So instead of us creating an advanced AI that turns on us we're gonna get Dr. Moreau'ed instead. Okay.

How do you feel about animal hybrids cuz what if a bear and a rhino could be combined tho. Or a bear and an eagle.

Well, combining animal DNA with different animal DNA is probably ok, I guess. There are plenty of examples of animals cross-breeding with other animals that are different but are still within the same animal "kinds."

I'm sure you've seen examples of lions and tigers producing offspring, for example, but the result is still a kind of cat.

Humans are made in the image of God though, unlike animals, and so combining their DNA with an animals would be an abomination.

Okay but I'm talking about something along the lines of a tiger and a tarantula.

Also wouldn't God have technically created the ability to combine humans and animals? I mean he made the people who discovered it.

He gave humans the ability to do great things with their brains. However, He also gave them free will which means they could use their smarts for wicked purposes like mocking God's creation and the natural order of things.

Going on the theory God is real, yes he created a world with possibilities. People have free will and when they achieve something it is up to them what they do with it. I think that is what matters.

So take the animal hybrid thing I mentioned. If someone did that in order to use an evil animal hybrid army to take over the world it would be bad. If they did it because they knew a bear combined with an eagle would be the most majestic sight in the world it wouldn't be bad.

You decide on what choices you make.

But then God is also supposedly all knowing, so he already knows your choices. So in a way they've already been made for you.

God knew you would say this. Billions of years ago it was decided.

No, they haven't been made for you. The fact He already knows how you'll choose doesn't mean you don't still have the freedom to choose. It's not like He has pre-programmed you to choose a certain way. We're not robots.

Don't believe there's such a thing as "billions of years ago", but that's just me.

Forgetting the question on how old the planet is, how long do you think God existed before he created humans?
