“More than 72 percent of children in the African-American community are born out of wedlock, that means absent fathers. And the studies show that a lack of a male role model is an express train right to prison, and the cycle continues. So please, black folks, as I said, if this doesn’t apply to you, I’m not talking to you. Pay attention to and think about what has been presented in recent history as acceptable behavior.
Pay close attention to the hip-hop and rap culture that many of you embrace, a culture that glorifies everything I just mentioned. Thug and reprehensible behavior, a culture that is making a lot of people rich, just not you and it’s not going to.”
This was in 2013, why are these comments not getting him fired today?
Leave it to you to influence me to think in new ways.
Yes, I see the hypocrisy. Trump and Tucker would get "cancelled" for bringing up those facts. Because we all know helping black people is never the actual desire for Democrats and the "progressives" here in the US. The PC crowd really sucks.
LoL. Both Trump and Tucker would've suffered a shitstorm from the left if either one of them had said what Lemon said. Then again, they both already put up with it from the left anyway so... yeah, it probably couldn't get much worse than it already is for them.
Leftists have been trying for years to get Tucker cancelled from FOX news. He probably would've been fired long ago if not for the fact that, without him, FOX would take a major hit to its ratings. Tucker has the #1 show on cable news, easily. Maddow doesn't hold a candle to him nor does anyone on CNN.

Correct. Trump would lose the election and Tucky would get fired. It's why even Reagan didn't say "tough on black people" but "tough on crime." That's how long the PC culture has been in place to not call out black issues as a white person.
