I've seen some studies about gender. Saying men are more likely to be geniuses, but also more likely to be below average intelligence. While women are more likely to be in the middle.
No clue if it's a valid thing, but some have said it.

The one interesting bit of Genetics in relation to IQ that does kind of hold up (but not really), is mothers IQ are the best indicator for a child's indicating possibly some kind of sex linkage involved. However, it's questionable tbh. Also IQ tests can be raised with practice, by a lot... It's unlikely that this is an epigenetic response although interestingly environmental factors may affect epigenetic responses in complex genetic mosaics.
Intelligence is complicated, I knew this guy in high school who did really well on standardized tests, I'm talking one of the top scorers in the entire graduating class.
He constantly got very low grades on his homework though. And I've known some who are the opposite of that. Sometimes the pressure of the tests gets to a person.
It's somewhat like a lie detector test, not necessarily accurate cuz stress is a factor.

Yeah, I hated homework, I think it's a boys thing. In the UK when I was at school, we just did exams at the end of year 11 and year 13. I don't think America is like that from what I have observed you do a lot more coursework and essays. But SAT and ACT is the opposite it's multiple choice isn't it, which we don't really do.
Obviously, yes. Think less in exception fallacies and more in statistics where these things look like a normal distribution curve and controlling for the SES variables normalizes the racial subsets such that they overlap when plotted on the same chart <- that was my original position.
Because we are talking about IQ where your score is a function of standard deviation from 100, population, and normal distributions. It's the entire topic so it seems nonsensical to ask "did you consider subset y which has a standard deviation of x?" Obviously, yes. That's how it works.
Evolutionary psychologists explain this by pointing out that females are the primary care-givers of children so nature demands a more predictable intelligence. Whereas men are the risk takers, protectors, and hunters so greater variability is acceptable to produce more varied outcomes.
Our genes are still almost 100.000% what they were when Cro Magnon rose from the evolutionary tree. So we carry all of those adaptive traits that allowed us to be successful from the previous 2 million years of hominid evolution.
Some tests specifically try to control for this like the S&B. But I literally got much higher scores taking those tests when I was a kid simply because I better understood what they were asking the next time I took the test - speed is also a factor.
Honestly the alternate views are more dangerous than mine.
Thinking that all groups of people have innately equal intelligence and capability results in things like this happening :

African leader thought he could replace white farmers with black farmers and everything would be find. The result was a spike in starvation, because the blacks simply were not nearly as efficient at running farms then whites.

The militia member has been recorded saying this, walked round with rittenhouse, said the militia wasn't organised. Mentions lies rittenhouse made so they would let him march with them. I see a day in court for this witness... and his friends
I just love being better than anyone who would have balked if the militia said the opposite and not believed it, but good thing that isn't you

WEEE have fun with that, right now we have video of a guy putting out a fire from rioters and running away from folks until they assault him............oh and we have them verbally assaulting him as well prior to the event.
But wait, I don't like guns so I'll blame the kid first.........
Let's be clear I don't like open carry, I don't think he should have been there and I certainly wouldn't allow my kid nor would I attend such an event.
Yet rioters assaulted someone armed and as rob says play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I've read the prosecutors statements and it's built around the defense of kyle being assaulted. Anyone can read it now.
I actually love this. I want them to say they trust militia members more than video.
Whirly, you got the sac to type that out? No need to be afraid, but if you reufse to say it yes it confirms you are afraid
