I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
1. Thanos was way underpowered. A lot (not all) of it was disappointing. They don't have to make Surfer a noob just so he fits into some sort of hierarchy.
2. The larger Avengers group is lame. I just want to see mostly the original roster size with a maybe 1 or 2 additions. This is another way to make Surfer comparatively more dangerous than Thanos - less heroes to fight against him.
Potential scenario: They are responding to a distress call from another planet, which has been marked by Surfer. They send Hulk and Thor to check it out first.
3. Surfer can be backed by Galactus as the big bad if you are concerned that the threat level is not high enough. Big G could be slowly setup for the next major Avengers arc.
4. Doesn't have to be an "Avengers" movie. Could be Surfer's own movie, but Hulk and Thor make an appearance, and are among a line of people that get the smack down.
Dr Doom the most, probably, as long as no one who worked on the last couple of FF films is anywhere near the project. The last two we got are pretty much only good for Versus matches, both being decently powerful, because their character portrayals were dog shit.

Big no on Ghost Rider. Not because I don't like the character (I do), but because based on Kevin Feige's recent talk about a possible reboot (which they seem to be considering), it would be a family friendly PG-13 film.
