 Oracle Question
Ok i have several questions regarding the oracle:
1- How does the Oracle predict the future? And if she can, why does she need Seraph as a protector? Shouldn't she be able to predict oncoming troubles?
2- If i remeber correctly, in the game Enter the MAtrix, there is a scene when Niobe meets the new oracle. She explains that her apperance changed because of The merrovingian (the french guy) told her that she interfered with his plans. How can Merrovingian change her??? He isnt that powerful is he?

The oracle is a program programed to predict the future.
Of course she can predict incoming attacks of anykind but still she needs someone to help her survive those attacks from the simple couse that she has no fighting powers or something.
The "french guy" killed her body form so her body changed to the new form....(the real thing is that the player died and they needed a reason why she changed her appearence so...)

Yes but cant she just predict that Neo will fail in his attempt to reload the Matrix???

she can predict 99% of all things as said by the arcitect. maybe she knew that and didnt want to tell him like in M1 that she told him he is not "The One". and who said that Neo is going to fail? he is not trying to reload the matrix he is trying to save zion.

Well actually, Neo would never had become the one if the Oracle did not tell him that he had a choice to go save Morpheus or to unplug Morpheus from the Matrix. He became the One because he listened to the Oralce's prophecy that he had a choice to go save Morpheus.

Neo was always "The One" hejust didn't belived in it he didn't became the one when he "died" that just made him understand.

It is knowed she is a program. she solved 99% of the cases... and as i said she can predict incoming attacks but can't stop those attacks by herself so she needs a body guard

The Oracle can only predict things that the choices that will create them have already been made about. In that sense she is an exceptionally gifted analysis programme.

All you need to know is, the prophecy really is true, and the Oracle is on the Side of Good channge,..AND she's working on her right, she's not helping the Architect.

Thee Oracle is basically a program & she has been their & witnessed all 6 cycles of the matrix, if you believe what the Architect said near the end. 1 percent of all people will not acept the program or matrix & Neo is an anomaly. With that in mind think about what the Oracle said to Neo the first time they met: Neo - "I'm not the One" Oracle - "Sorry kiddo, you got the gift, but it looks like your waiting for something." Neo - "What?" Oracle - "Your next life maybe.. thats how these things go."
The Oracle had probably met Neo there for the 6th time & she remembers all previous visits. That makes more sense now when she said to Neo about breaking the Vase. Neo - "How did you know" Oracle "Whats really gonna bake your noodle later on is would you have still of broken it.. if I hadn't said anything."
Seraph is another program designed to protect her location in the matrix. How he can tell who is good & evil by fighting them is beyond me though.
Indeed - The proficy is true & Neo lied to Morpheus.. knowing he had a choice to save Trinity through one door OR save Zion & destroy the Matrix.. well he could have choosed the door to save Zion instead. Lied might be too strong a word, maybe Just didn't tell.
