Honestly wouldn't make much of a difference.

The film's problems were above and beyond the fact that it didn't have a good end fight scene.

Yeah I’m not saying that it’ll completely fix it, but I think they could definitely improve it

They should consider a "supercut" of the whole trilogy, imho.

Now that could fix things, perhaps.

Just completely redo episodes 8 and 9, yeah. TFA wasn’t bad and set the next film up to potentially be good

Nah TFA set the trilogy up to be an OT rehash. It just did its intended job at the time which was to capitalise on nostalgia. But that was a one time trick, and a poor set up for a sequel trilogy.

define "worked". If you mean that it was better than the Joss Whedon version, then I'm not too sure about that. I found it to be worse in so many more areas right down to why the story's even happening.
