Donald Trump did not win the 2020 presidential election, but has obsessively clung to his baseless claims of election fraud, and a new poll shows the overwhelming majority of his supporters are singing the same fact-free tune. The ex-president lost over 60 state and federal cases attempting to overturn the 2020 election results, with many of those defeats coming at the gavel of Republican-appointed, and sometimes even Trump-appointed, judges.
Fox News agreed to pay a whopping $787.5 million settlement to Dominion Voting Systems rather than attempt to defend their broadcasts of some of those same election lies. Sworn testimony aired by the January 6th House Select Committee showed a long list of Trump administration officials admitting under oath that Trump did not win the election. None of this seems to matter to the MAGA faithful, according to a new poll.
At this point, even if Trump came out and said "I didn't win, I lied and tried to illegally flip the election because I am a sore loser", they'd claim he was being forced in some manner and didn't really mean it. The lies are easier for them than the truth.
I do like how over 50% picked "because he makes liberals angry", what a solid reason to pick a president that's already had four years of gross mismanagement, unchecked spending we're still suffering the affect from, a completely botched pandemic response and a failed coup under his belt.
You have to wonder, if Trump did win in 2024, who'd be left to serve in his cabinet. Or is there plenty enough lickspittles left who'd let Trump insult their wives and still carry water for him for the chance of some power.
He'd fill his cabinet with the most loyal subservient types and Republicans who are attacking him now would be sucking on his orange wee-wee again after.
The 75% who voted "he actually won in 2020", only a very small amount actually believe it. The vast majority just repeat the empty talking point so they can justify supporting a guy who literally tried to steal an election and then staged a violent insurrection and attack on the capital when it failed in the states.
I agree, but you don't have anyone quite as evil as Ian Duncan Smith, Truss or Braverman... not even Trump has killed as many as IDS. He literally targeted the most vulnerable and now wishes to recreate himself as the champion of Hong Kong. I will be in Hong Kong on business in 3 weeks btw. Just getting it in there.

It was his "alleged" victim in this "alleged" justice system who claimed this Rob. She said so publicly, that she finds rape sexy, after the "traumatic" rape.

Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
