Loved the versions of Skeletor, King Hiss, and what little we saw of Hordak though.
Skeletor especially was just perfect. Right amounts of menace and goofiness.

Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
Did you see the scripts for the axed season? Hordak comes back, and eventually gets deposed by Skeletor.
A lot of that script was adapted into the Eternity War comic book series.

I was actually on board until about.... three or four episodes into season 2? Then it just got stupid.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Seriously, if Lynn was going to usurp power, couldn't she do it in a less goofy fashion then offering snoo snoo? Does Skeletor even have a "boner", he's a skeleton!

Finished it last night myself. Mixed thoughts. Let me know what you think.

[SPOILER - highlight to read]: As the real battle over reality between Teela and Lynn happen, Skeletor grapples and monologues to He-Man about their eternal battle, and He-Man cuts him off and throws him into the distance with a "THIS...IS...NOT...ABOUT...US!"
It is telling because it ISN'T about them. The story is about Teela and Evil Lynn. I think this is a deliberate line, from Smith to the fans, essentially admitting he lied when he called it a He-Man story, and lied when he said season 2 would be about Skeletor.

[SPOILER - highlight to read]: To Skeletor: "THIS IS NOT ABOUT US!"
No shite.
It was a Teela and Evik Lynn story. Even you can't lie about the fact Kevin Smith lied when he called season one a He-Man story, and season 2 about Skeletor. Neither is true, Adam and Skeletor were merely instruments for Teela and Lynn to tell their stories.

[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Did Skeletor laughing off the idea of simply killing He-Man remind you of The Monarch and Doctor Venture relationship?

[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Everyone got their moment. Skeletor ruled episodes 5 and 6, Adam stepped up and saved everyone, and Teela and Lynn got the baton in the end. It's like Thanos getting the IG and Nebula stealing it from him. Thanos still rules, and so does Skeletor and Adam and Orko. And even Man at Arms holding off Skelegod.
Two thumbs up.

And thinking about it, [SPOILER - highlight to read]: He-Man not beating the final boss is nothing new. In the 2000 reboot Adam never beat King Hiss once. Zodak did, twice.

Ripped right out of rhe 80's toon, animation is spot on.
Practically all the characters are playable. Plus Lion-O. You can summon Battlecat or Panthor as He-Man or Skeletor and ride them or let then attack on their own, or select them as playable characters by themselves.
And She-Ra is OP with her Swift Wind form.
Think I'll do a villian vs The Horde run. Skeletor, Evil Lynn, Panthor, Trapjaw.

[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Why is Adam the only one able to summon The Power without the sword? Does his Power and Skeletor's/Lynn's come from the same source, and are they weakened when sharing the Power? Or are both at full strength?
How on earth were the Men at Arms even able to restrain Primal He-Man? Shouldn't that be like trying to restrain a bulldozer with ropes?
Why is Skeletor and Evil Lynn able to amp off Eternia going to the center of the universe, yet He-Man isn't?
And if The Sorceress controls The Power, why did Lynn even need to trick Skeletor and get the Sword?
Finally, why is Teela able to say "No" to the rules of being bound to Castle Grayskull, while keeping the full benefits of the Power?
