I might be wrong in remembering but people wanted the opposite of Harper...and Muclair is like "balanced" budget and etc...while Trudeau wasn't.

It also doesn't help that the NDP are going for young people with their policies and etc (tax the rich, fix the housing system)....and young groups has always been a less than forthcoming voting base.

Mulcair could've been an excellent leader.

The problem with him is, he listened to his advisors and "calmed down".

In one the debates, Mulcair looked like a deer in headlights because he was trying to be nice and people saw right through that.

People loved his aggressiveness.

And he came out against the face covering bill in Quebec (which is very popular) and the NDPs' popularity plummeted after that.

He really shot himself in the foot.

The Liberals should not have won that election (2015).

If you want to anger a Conservative, lie to him.
If you want to anger a Liberal, tell him the truth.

KMC is a Left Wing echo chamber; just like Reddit and Twitter.

Why do you say that? The Liberals shouldn't of won? Because of why?

They didn't self-sabotage the election like the NDP did.
They promoted change, which the public wanted.
And Trudeau was a charismatic candidate.

It seems to me the Liberals did a good enough job promoting themselves and they were rewarded by a majority.

And you can't be an excellent leader if you can't win an election. It's the same thing with Bernie Sanders...yeah...he could of been a great President but you have to win it....to become great.

Okay, maybe not that bad, but still, outsiders just don’t work.

It's way too far from the election to say one way or another.

I’m still thinking the Conservative party will rise.

I never liked Trudeau.

Charismatic, sure.

But he's only in the position he's in because of his daddy.

Of course the Liberals did a good enough job to get elected.

And I disagree with your last point.

If the system is rigged (and it is in Canada against anything other than the 2 parties) it doesn't matter how great of a leader you are.

And for everyone supporting Trudeau.

quote:
I find that Mr. Trudeau used his position of authority over Ms. Wilson-Raybould to seek to influence her decision on whether she should overrule the Director of Public Prosecutions' decision not to invite SNC-Lavalin to enter into negotiations towards a remediation agreement. Because SNC‑Lavalin overwhelmingly stood to benefit from Ms. Wilson-Raybould's intervention, I have no doubt that the result of Mr. Trudeau's influence would have furthered SNC-Lavalin's interests. The actions that sought to further these interests were improper since the actions were contrary to the constitutional principles of prosecutorial independence and the rule of law.

For these reasons, I find that Mr. Trudeau contravened section 9 of the Act.

Trudeau II Report Ethics Commissioner.

And as expected, he hasn't been held accountable.

Now it's up to the rest of us to vote him out of office.

hey whirly instead of having to type out the whole [csm] stuff you can actually just use ~ on either side instead (e.g. ~smileyname~) and it does it automatically. saves a LOT of time

edit: that's for custom smileys; for standard KMC smileys it's either :smileyname: or #smileyname# depending on which smiley it is (no idea why)
