VA Jury Hears Horrific Audio from Unite the Right Rally
Christopher Cantwell, known as "the Crying Nazi," turned the opening statements of his trial into a racist open-mic session in which he dropped the N-word and plugged his podcast.
Cantwell and 19 other white nationalists, neo-Nazis, and their various organizations are accused of conspiring to incite racially-motivated violence at the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia four years ago which left one person dead and dozens injured.
Cantwell and white nationalist Richard Spencer are the only two defendants who are representing themselves in the case. Spencer has entered the courthouse everyday since Monday in a black trenchcoat and a black flat cap.
With everyday that passes Tucker is proven more and more right.

The truth is, Tucker wasn't nearly as extreme as the true alt-right. They complained all the time about how he compromised on certain issues, or "demonized" China, or "embraced lgbtq".
You may laugh and jeer and that's fine, just be aware the people who watched Tucker will find someone far more extreme then he ever was.

You can carry Tucker's water all you like, but he has a long history of saying extremely bigoted to outright racist remarks, often disguised as "just asking questions" and they're all recorded. Then there's all the lies he knew were lies that we've seen in the subpoenaed text and emails.
Don't worry though, I'm sure he'll be picked up by one of the even more Far-Right outlets and he'll be able to let the mask fully slip off and you can cheer him on.
Well I'm not really arguing he's a good person rob.
One thing that doesn't really help is when you have an official saying don't blame the violent kids for trashing stuff though. You know the whole deal where if you happen to be a violent mob that is seen as oppressed then you must be justified. Never ever blame the powerless even if the powerless are burning cars and buildings and loading. That happens you could pretend it doesn't but it definitely is one of the main narratives here. You're either a bigot or you're someone that's super duper tolerant because oppression. It's stupid.
Maybe there is a middle ground where you can be an antisocial our soul regardless of the color of your skin or your place in the social pecking order. Just maybe. Maybe everyone deserves a good stern lecture once in a while. I don't know.

You're just arguing that Tucker 'wasn't that bad' and he is, he's very bad. He had a massive audience and he used his time to sow fear and rage and spread lies, he knew were lies, that helped fuel the domestic terrorist attack on the capital, insurrection and failed coup.
I really hope Tucker takes Russia Today's job offer and full on drops his mask, would at least be the first honest thing he's done in decades, maybe his whole life.
