People call Nicholas Sandmann a white supremecist, the term has been twisted to mean "Anyone the Left does not like".

Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
So my honest opinion is that, from all the videos I've seen of the incident, it was the correct judgement.
Rittenhouse would be wise to bow out of the limelight and try and live some kind of normal life. I expect he won't though. He'll likely be offered considerable money for TV appearances etc which, in fairness, would be hard to turn down. Perhaps the best middle ground would be for him to use those chances to show some contrition for the deaths of 2 people.
He hasn't got a track record for making good decisions though.

Sure, if he gets them to settle out-of-court the way Sandmann got CNN to.
He'll still be in the news though until it gets settled if he does decide to seek damages.
