Looks tto me so far he's playing ball. Has he let anyone back on from that blacklist? Has he refused to clean up obvious vulgarity or hate speech?
Say what you will, he's not making Twitter into 4chan, there is no signs he intends to.

I'm more inclined to agree with Aaron Bastani on this.
From his twitter:

He goes on to talk about how it seems like a different guy buying twitter as his incompetence so far seems like clown shoes in charge. But I defo agree Musk smart. Definitely not stupid.
His views aren't exactly in line with western mainstream, let alone any notion of free speech (I'm not an absolutist myself, but I can't understand why pointing out that the ability to censor hate speech is a threat on all speech is a controversial statement. SOMEONE has to decide what is hate. Definitions change all the time, and everyone has an agenda.)

Then again, Ted Cruz is Canadian by birth, not born on an overseas US military base of embassy and the Right never calls him out on wanting to be POTUS.
