I'm not asking for someone like you to respect me. I only expect those who understand where I'm coming from to relate with me. Think what you want about me and I will think the same of you. You are a measly nothing to me so it doesn't matter what you have to say.

Yep I'm a jerk off again, how original, see I don't even have to insult you, you do it to yourself. I think I've proven that I'm intellectually surperior to you so lets stop this ridiculous "NO YOU ARE!" conversation an get back to the topic at hand...Freddy vs. Jason, Freddy obviously winning...
Ok ok...Enough is enough!!! I am here to settle this shit!! First and for most my boy mike myers has been bashed far to much in this thread and i am not gonna stand for that! I mean do you people even watch horror movies?? do you even pay attention to the stroylines?? Cause the dude who said myers storyline was toned down and a bad version of jasons better get his facts straight.
Halloween the original came BEFORE the first Friday the 13th. Now as far as mike myers killing his sister going into a mental hospital escaping and coming after her is a FAR better storyline then a stupid kid who died and somehow comes back to life to kill camp counslers. Also in the first friday the 13th there was not even a jason..it was his mother out for revenge. Also halloween 1 & 2 was 50x more scarier the ANY friday the 13th movie, and if you cannot admit that you are not a horror fan at all.
Now onto Freddy. I will admit Nightmare on Elm street 1-3 was a Scary movie. It was better then Friday the 13th also IMO. but as time went on Freddy got so damn corny. It just got plain stupid, and it made him a joke of the horror world. Yes I can admit a guy who can kill you in your dreams has a good stroyline premise, and yes it does make him unique compared toa guy who just walks after you and rips your head off, or chops you up with a large knife.
Now Jason, he is just a pure Killing machine. He kills blindly, and lets nothign stand in his way. Jason also had some funny moments, when he bashes the camp counler to death in the sleepign bags and such (it was in an earlier movie before jason X). Myers at times in his movies showed compassion, showed he had a human side to him...not often but there was times he did show it. Also what made Halloween a great movie, was the presence of Donald Pleasance. That guy all to himself was a creepy dude.
Anyhow, to some extent Freddy, Jason, Myers have all been punked out by hollywood as the years went on..In my mind they are the Elite 3 with everyone having there own opinion on who is the king. Though, if I woudl rather face Freddy then Myers or Jason. All I gotta do is not live on Elm street and i never have to worry about freddy...Jason has been all over teh damn place, and myers basically was a homebody type of dude, who just liked killing family members or those who were friends of his family members.
In any event chill with bashing myers because he came before Freddy or Jason, and his movies where scarier then either of the two, and ANY horror fan can admit to that!

I never bashed the original Halloweens I was talking about the later ones when, I don't even think the directors knew what the hell was going on. So before you start assuming, ask...also don't expect me, or anyone else for that matter to stop bashing mike. It is all a matter of opinion and MY OPINION of him is that, with the exception of Halloween 1 and half of 2, the Halloween series sucked. So I will continue to bash the toned down, bad storyline, wannabe version of Jason, just as those who that Freddy will continue to bash him. Everyone is entitled to, and allowed to express their opinions. If you believe otherwise then maybe a forum isn't the riht place for you.
See there you go again, How is it even possible for myers to be a toned down bad story version of jason when he came before him?? that is liek saying George Bush SR was a toned down version of his son...it makes no sence what so ever.
Also if you are gonna judge Myers due to the fact of the bad sequals then does that give you the right to get mad when people say freddy is an absolute joke because of his sequals? I mean c'mon NOES was utterly stupid from #4 on. I mean freddy using the nintendo power glove, riding a skate board and calling himself super freddy. He was punked out just liek Myers was punked out in the sequals. Even you can admit your boy freddy became a joke as the series went on. You think I liked it when i seen Myers get beat up by Busta Ryhmes in his last movie? No..but i don;t judge him upon that... I go by the original movie and the 2nd sequal.
Freddy was cool, in the first few NOES movies, Myers was also a bad ass in the first two halloweens. Though my whole point is that you wanted people to give credit where credit was due on freddy yet you go off to make very uninteligent comments on Myers being a copy of jason, and that is an absured comment.
Though I will admit you are right about everyone having an opinion of there own, and there is no way to ever stop that. I personally grew up watching all 3 of them (Freddy, Myers, Jason) and took more to Myers due to the fact that the movie used to scary the ever loving crap outta me as a kid. So I just wanted to voice my opinion on the subject and give my boy Myers his credit.
As far as teh upcoming movie Jason vs Freddy, I cannot wait to see it. From what i read on the internet, I heard there was two endings filmed, one where jason wins, and one where Freddy wins. Nobody is going to know which one is gonna be used when the movie is released. I assure you though that come time for the DVD release it will have both endings on their to please all the fans.

When I say that toned down.... stuff I mean later on thats what he turned in to, he wasn't that at first.
Also, I'm not saying Freddy's "scariness" didn't decrease as well. He was far more darker in the older NOES' like NOES 1, 3, and 4. In 5 and 6 (Freddy's Dead) he worried more about making people laugh then scaring them, I admit to this. I have every right to talk about Myers just like you can talk about Freddy as long as you give credit where credit is due, as I do with Myers. I would be a hypocrite if I bashed Myers but defended Freddy's "sell-out" behavior but I don't, so I'm not. It irks me that you can't understand this....

I saw the trailer on the website quite a few times but then I acctually saw the preview on tv and I almost screamed like a little girl out of excitement
They are all great but Pinhead and Freddy are cut from the same cloth for they both rely on the powers of hell. Booth of them are demons and is able to manipulate their surroundings. Freddy at one time was only confined to dreams but now can crossover to the real world. Both of them are cunning and creative when it comes to killing.
I believe I understand where U are coming from? Jason, Michael Myers and Freddy have one thing in common and that is they can't be killed where as Leatherface is human and he is able to put fear in one's heart by his actions. Actally Leatherface name came from a case back in the 70's from a serial killer or killers that was actually cutting up humans and eating them.
True but what started this feud between Jason and Freddy is the scene in the end of Jason goes to Hell, Freddy reaches up and snatches the Hockey mask. Techically Freddy should be the winner but as rumors go around there are two endings. The reason for Freddy being the winner is the fact that Freddy can utilize the powers of Hell against Jason. Freddy don't need brawn to defeat his enemies.
