Ok, I watched the Netflix documentary Eat the Rich about the GameStop short squeeze. All the people acting like they were sticking it to rich people, and then cheering when Elon Musk joined in and made more money than any of them... Are ye daft? You helped the rich, you hurt some middle class retirement accounts... Ffs...I honestly hope they got theirs, because I don't begrudge them their success, but the fact they honestly thought they hurt rich people made me laugh...
So it wasn't just some redditers pooling their money against hedge funds that sold short?
