It's either people flash stepping behind each other and owning them or characters taking turns breaking out their previously never-seen before OPhax move until one runs out of moves and dies.
yeah but the concept of these attacks are pretty cool
it's not just raw power
it has a lot of intellegent behind these moves, whether it's illusion, speed, weaponery to more abstract ideas they beautifully portrayed in battle
the animation back in the day was shitty for sure, but thousand years blood war fight scene was very satisfying to watch
even though the aizen arc is better than yhwach arc, thousand year blood war is so much better than the og anime. i been watching the og anime now and the filler and pacing is worse than naruto
bleach is such a polarizing show for me. i absolute love the fashion/style/fight styles
but hated how slow pace it is. it's like all the shonen old animes like dragon ball, one piece, bleach, naruto etc would be so much better if they can condense the episodes to half it's length, they'd all be masterpiece.
I totally missed out on Bleach, always wanted to watch it but it sucks to start with something that has tons of episodes and you start from 0. From what I have seen it always looked interesting though.

I agree on this, I absolutely hated all those filler episodes in Naruto and all the flashback / backstory episodes in DBZ that happened all of the sudden during the fights.

They used some of the original voice actors but 1 or 2 of the most important were missing so I wasn't interested. The only Sagas I'd be interested in were Sayan and Cell Saga anyway.

like it's still slow but at least it's at a bearable pace
and abridged is so much better because the writing and dialogues are just superior. the characters are just better. for example abridged cell is so much more charismatic than original
dbz abridged makes me laugh harder than any other series on youtube
If you enjoy seeing saliva instead of blood... glass of water instead of alcohol... blue popo instead of negro popo... lame soundtrack instead of epic Faulconer... then sure, Kai is your thing
Manga purists complain about Kai, too... go figure.
