I just got triggered badly. An ABC guest claimed Trump's lawyer cooperating is a big deal because attorney client privileges is one of the most protected privileges there is, and Trump never expected that to come out.
I am genuinely furious, but NOT for Trump. What angers me is the fact normally attorney/client privilege bars attorney's from disclosing past crimes, and only lets them admit to crimes in progress/planned crimes. Lawyers have admitted to being told by their client where the bodies of children are, and reburying them while keeping their secret.
So now you can have exceptions? Where were those kids exception? Did their parents ever learn they were in unmarked graves? Did they ever ger the bodies for a funeral? How many times have similar atrocities been covered up?
Our justice system is so corrupt, they should make it easier to have exceptions then they do.

I mean ok, there's that, but that door swings both way. Just look at the allegations of bias at the Rittenhouse verdict. And how do we know the judge ISN'T biased? Just seems like you'd want someone as above board as you could find, a non Trump appointed Republican maybe.

Gonna be an interesting one. He "could" lose, it's possible with the lower burden of proof.
No idea how they'd sway a jury though after the infamous prosecution witnesses. They'd need more then "If he wasn't there they never would have engaged".
Mutual combat from Kimm Foxx may also muddy the water, if civil suits can use precedent from criminal cases.

Honestly, it's way too early to celebrate, sure this is bad and this looks bad on the whole of Republican party and every Trumper who supported and still supports this truly dangerous clown.
Few things to remember:
A) it only takes one Trumper juror out of twelve jurors to just decide "I don't care about the mountains of evidence shown, my lord Trump is going free!", to ratf*ck the trial
B) the trial is set in Florida, that's a far-right shithole and Trump's home state*
C) the judge (unless she is replaced for the trial) is a Trump appointed judge who already has done some questionable acts
D) Jack Smith has overall gone easy on Trump with the charges, should more than the 37
*I know Jack smith picked Florida so Trump's lawyers couldn't protest that he was jury picking and delay the trial, but Florida gives Trump a super advantage

We can celebrate that the traitor was indicted, will be arrested and will be arraigned on Tuesday. All a step towards him hopefully going where he belongs, prison.

Speaking of the murderer Rittenhouse and judges, that biased judge did everything in his power to sway the jury to the side of the defense. eg not allowing the audio recording of Rittenhouse talking about how he'd love to shoot/kill people, days before he shot and killed people.
He said civil case, you're talking criminal. The civil trial has yet to happen, but been green lit.
