The Hulk....i know this is a little late but........

I went. I saw. I laughed. But I don't think I was suppoed to.
I read somewhere that the audience who see the hulk can be categorised into two different groups
group 1 - come away feeling that the hulk was an absolute work of genius and was the best thing they'd ever seen
group 2 - come away wondering why the hulk always manages to keep his blue shorts on whenever he transforms.

I fitted into group 2. As I think most of the viewing audience do, besides of course those hardcore comic book fans who are in denial that anyone especially not ANG LEE, the great film maker who had directed movies like crouching tiger hidden dragon which had won coutless awards, couldn't destroy their favourite comic book character EVER. Surely Ang Lee couldn't churn out this mindless piece of crap.

But he did, as anyone who has seen the movie will tell you.
Oh well. There's a first for everything i suppose.

The first 40 minutes full of the physcho babble bullshit were.....................interesting for want of a better word.
Ok, it was spectactulary bad but i spent most of it thinking "when the hell is the big green monster going to emerge and smash some stuff up!"
And is it just me or was the most interesting thing in the movie the fact that the guy who played Bruce Banner, Eric Bana, had a surname that sounded the same but was spelt differently?
I spent most of the movie pondering that. And really, there isn't a lot to it. Just goes to show how bland this movie is.
Ok, don't get me wrong, this movie was cut together BRILLIANTLY, i mean brilliantly. It would have been an absolutely fantastic movie if only the story was better. and eric bana wasn't in it. BTW did u know he was in black hawkf down. this revelation came to me halfway through the hulk. he was the dude that died......i think.....i think he was the one whose leg josh hartnett put his hand up to get the bullet out.............maybe i made that up.............
ANYWAY back to the movie.
Well there's not much more to say, thank god josh lucas was cast in this film. It was fun to watch him beat up Bruce Banner, over and over, he's great at being the evil dude. And he's much hotter without that dumb alabama accent.
ANYWAY
Ang, man, you let me down! How could you!

One last thing. The ending was awful. Absolutely awful. What was with the jellyfish thing.....it looked cool, but did it have a prupose? Am i missing something?

Ok this really is the last thing, it was funny to watch jennifer connelly be in an awful film and see it flop. My hatred towards her is nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that a beautiful mind won best oscar of FOTR.

Ok, it is entirely to do with that..............but still.........funny

Studios should stop making comic movies in my opinion. Think for themselves, and give us a great movie.

There were some pretty good special effects, and a pretty good storyline. I'd have to give it a good but not great.
