has anyone seen angel heart? thats the best devil voodoo movie around . nothing compare to that. it is truly a freaky flick its actually the only movie that ever got to me on that inner feeling. i believe it was released around 1985 . its sheer brilliance

Well...i know its not as old...but....CAndyman...that was a good movie..not so sure about the second one...but..yeah, Candyman!
Shining was great too...Jack Nicholson really did it!

- not old
- way over rated. It is probably the worst of the "popular" horror films/series. It's a mediocre movie at best.........and the sequels are utter dog shit.

- I already mentioned that it isnt that old, but it isnt that new either....
- I thought it was good...the end!
- This thread asks about great older horror movies, not slag off random ones...never told us yours..
P.S. Cube was such a weird film....i still dont know if i liked it

it was a very difernt movie wich made it so good to come up with a movie like that was pretty creative i liked it alot very good and had good actors in it the guy from deep blue sea and then the black guy was i think morphues for sum reason havent seen it in a long time though

the cube is good, but a little bit to smart for its own good, it couldnt even answer the questions posed in the movie, so they went with the easy answer of "if wasnt supposed to answer the questions". That always bothers me in movies, but it was still a very neat little movie.

CAn you imagine what he could be doing with the horror films if he was still arround.... plus, on top of that...there are some great affects avalable today..too!

has anyone ever seen the original tales from the crypt movie made back in 1977, which the hbo series got the spin off from? Thats a good older horror flick. and creep show is always a fun looksy

The Birds, for definite... the original b+w Invasion of the Body Snatchers is one of the all time greats, as is the Thing from Another World (later remade as The Thing with Kurt russell...) And howzabout all those great hammer movies, like Twins of Evil, the Vampire Lovers, and Captain Kronos, Vampire Killer.... One of my favourites, although I don't think of it as old, is The Hunger... more haunting, though, than horrific...
