My favorite french movie was Au Revoir Les Enfants, but I also liked Cyrano de Bergerac and Les Diabolques.

There are also 'Les rivières pourpres 1 & 2' with Jean Reno...Not Bad...

You know I don't like French movies. Once, I saw three of them, one after another. They were so boring!

The 'Three Colors' trilogy is stunning, but the best French movie I've seen is 'Betty Blue'...so hot, it hurts...

'La Haine' is good, too...

I don't remeber the names, but one movie was about women in jail. Maybe some of the French movies are good, but I personally haven't seen any good French movies. Can you recommend me some?

I liked 8 women. I thought that it was a really good movie. Plus Audrey Tautou comes out in it and she is one of my favorite actresses. I thought that some of the singing was a bit over the top but, other than that I really enjoyed the film. smile

agree, 8 femmes was horrible imho
they tried to make fun of it all, but I really disliked it

My sister hated it aswell... I loved it, the storyline was a little broken but it was funny and entretaining.

I know! I'm addicted to it.. I've seen them all at least 3 times each.

I was actually considering purchasing the Three Colours trilogy, mind reviewing it for me?

I've seen "3 hommes et un couffin", it wasn't as hilarious as my french teacher had made it out to be. It's the french version of "Three Men and a Baby" really, literally translated to be "three men and a cradle."

I've also seen "Les Compères", in translation meaning the partners, and let me tell you, I freaking love this movie. Pierre Richard and Gerard Depardieu are amazing as a duo. Had me laughing out loud. "Father's Day" with Billy Crystal and Robin Williams is the english re-make.

OE LEON. UGH I LOVE YOU!!!

-

I love any movie Audrey Tautou and Marion Cotillard are in, and any movie Luc Besson is involved with.

I haven't seen the Taxi movies though, but I'm dying to! The only Taxi movie I've seen was the US remake erm

Are the French ones better?

Urgh of course the French films are better, the remake was horrendous. Go watch the Taxi trilogy, well worth it. Besson is going to do a fourth French Taxi film too, can't wait for it.
