Chris Claremont stated that Psylocke's "death" was NEVER meant to be permanent. It was a plot device that was going to bring her back "fixed."
BUT--
Joey Q was quite adamant on his "Dead Is Dead" Policy. CC even said he and Quesada went head-to-head and tempers flared often in his battle to bring Betsy back.
CC also commented that he and Quesada have come a long way and he commented in a Forum that Betsy WILL be back, but didn't say when.
Hi, I was wondering which comic would be the better buy (for a long run). I was thinking of getting either the normal X-men one (starting with #161) or Gambit (starting with #1) or maybe another one starting with the next story arc. Any suggestions?
Gambit is going to only be a mini series, I think comic dude was saying it's 6 issues or something close to that. I say you start with Astonishing, or like Pao said, Ulitmate
Which one's the main comic?
Anyone got any pictures of the bit in #158 where [spoilers]gambit gets blinded[/spoilers], he's my fav. character and I want to know what happened
Gender: Male Location: United States
Lake Ontario, NY
Uncanny X-men is the main X-men title ever since the current X-men took over from the original X-men in Giant Sized X-men #1. At least i think thats it.
The way i collect my titles is i first buy the issues with my fav. hero in it.
Gambit has kinetic energy charges so if you really like him you might be interested in The Black King of the Hellfire Club's inner circle.
His name is Sebastian Shaw and his power is to convert kinetic energy into raw power and invulnerability. At his normal level he is just a reg. guy with no strength, but when he is struck by a person or energy his power makes does just that, converts the kenitc energy to power and resistance. Oh he's a bad guy.
Check out gambits origins when he saves storms life. They bond cause theyre both thieves. I really liked his honor code in the beginning and think they should revive his loyalty to Storm.
By the way Sage was The Black Kings personal assistant.
I recommend Bishops book District X. I think it has a good story line. The real sell of comics is finding the right thread to move the book through. Sometimes the action can overkill a book.
