How Lance has his powers is revealed in part 2,
the 2nd story's title i am still thinking of.

but in the mean time here is the end of the first story:

Neo, Lance, Morpheus, Thaddeus, Jue, Axle, Soren, Bane, Ice, Niobe, Ghost and 20 other people all walked into the building, then they all stood there, waiting.
The Swat on the ground floor looked towards the group of people.
One of the swat talked into his radio � This is Swat Command, ground floor, a large group of people have entered the building, what should we do, over�
�Shoot to Kill�.
The swat member looked up at the group of people and shouted out � All Swat Units, we have intruders on in the building, shoot to kill!�
Bullets started flying everywhere as the swat opened fire. Lance pulled out two Uzi�s and started firing. Neo ran forward and kicked one of the swat members and picked up his gun. Everyone was now in the fight, the swat were losing quickly.
�Only 5500 left� Lance chuckled.
�10 of you take the elevator, another 10 take the west side and the rest come with me on the east side. Morpheus shouted.
Lance ran into the elevator. It started to go up. Then it stopped. They could hear people on top of the lift. Lance had got a mp5 from of the swat he pointed at the roof and fired. The swat were court completely off guard. Lance jumped through the lift roof, the others in the lift climbed out of the hole Lance created. He climbed through the hole that the swat came through. He finally came out of the other side. He was on floor 55. He ran up the stairs leading to floor 56. It was the roof of the building, across the roof he could see a small office, he could see trinity inside. He ran towards the office. Then three agents stepped out of nowhere.
�Mr.Reton,this is where you will die, here and now. Goodbye Mr.Reton�
The three agents raised their guns towards Lance. They fired, the bullets flew towards Lance, He raised his hand, the bullets stopped in font of him then flew back at the agents hitting and killing the middle one. The other two agents looked at each other
�That was unexpected�
�Yes it was�
The two agents ran forwards, attacking Lance, while he was just blocking all their attacks. Lance could see Trinity being led out of the building by three agents,
Another 18 agents stepped out of the office and ran towards Lance. One of the agents kicked Lance sending him flying across the roof. Lance saw a hand to helping him up, he turned round,
�Neo�
They both looked towards the agents. The agents looked at each other. Neo and Lance ran towards the agents. Neo grabbed Lance�s leg and threw him in the air, Lance did a flip then kicked an agent in the head as he came down. Lance kicked one of the agents sending off the building. Neo jumped up kicked one of the agents , span round and then kicked an other agent, while still in the air.
All of the agents were dead, Neo walked over Lance
�Lance, where is trinity?�
�Some agents are taking her out of the building� Lance looked over the edge of the building � Can you pass me that gun?�
Neo walked over to the mp5 and chucked it to Lance
�Thank you�
Lance loaded the gun and ran to the edge of the building, and jumped.
�Lance!� Neo ran to the edge. Lance opened fire on a car going past.
The two agents looked up as bullets rained on top of them and ripping through the roof of the car. Lance looked at the ground and only just realised what he had done, he let go of the gun and span front wards , putting his feet in front. He bent his knees, he hit the ground, then stood up again. He could see the car, two agents stepped at, with trinity at gun point. One of the agents dropped to the floor in pain
�What�s happening?!�
The agent morphed into Lance. Lance stood up and smiled and the other agent, the other agent stepped back in horror, he started firing at Lance, he dodged every bullet, the agent dropped his gun, Lance tripped him up, he opened his hand, from nowhere a gun appeared. He pointed at the agent
�Mr.Reton says goodbye�
Lance fired, hitting the agent in the head. He dropped the gun and walked over to trinity, who was still tied up. He undid the ropes, then he�s phone went off. He answered it
�Yes?�
�It�s Link, there are hundreds of police cars heading your way, swat vans, tanks, at least 10 helicopters and another 30 agents, you lot better get out of there fast�
�I can handle them�
