Ridley Scott To Direct 'A Good Year' Adaptation

Ridley Scott will be directing the adaptation of Peter Mayle's upcoming novel, A Good Year, according to Variety.

The project, to be written by Marc Klein, is the story of a failing London banker who moves to Provence after inheriting a vineyard, only to encounter a beautiful Californian who has her own claim on the estate. Knopf will publish the novel June 1st.
