'Genie With The Light Blue Hair' Going To Big Screen

Ellen Conford bestselling novel Genie With the Light Blue Hair is to be made into a movie, by Emmett/Furla Films, according to Variety.

Published in 1990 by Bantam's Starfire imprint, book is the story of Jeannie, a high school freshman who gains access to a magical genie. Any wish can be granted, but she finds herself transformed from the inside out.

Genie With the Light Blue Hair is currently out to writers.
